itSMF Service Management Champion of the Year 2007
Marc Guy, Central Office of Information, was awarded Service Management champion of the Year at the itSMF awards ceremony at the Gala dinner on Tuesday, 13 November 2007.
The Service Management Champion Award is for an individual service management professional who, in the judge’s view, made the most outstanding contribution within the Service Management industry during the year.
Marc was nominated by Mark Haywood, Business Development Manager at Fox IT, who also supported him as a key note speaker at the event this year. The Central Office of Information is one of Fox IT’s Service-now.com customers.
Quote from Marc – “When the award was announced I was lost for words. The competition was tough and it took a few moments for it to sink in that I had won. It was a great honour to have won this award and I would like to thank Fox IT and Service-now.com who without them and their support this would not have been possible.
It is great to be recognised by your peers and very worthwhile. This will encourage me to keep things going as well for next year”.
This award follows last year's award to another Fox IT customer, Martyn Sayce of HBOS Personal Lending, for his work in
championing their ISO20000 programme.
