KNOWN ERROR DESCRIPTION: Specific areas affected are: 1. It is no longer possible to bring the application icon to the foreground when an alert is received while the application is minimized. The icon can still be flashed, but the effect is to flash the task bar entry. The properties the user has chosen for the task bar thus control whether or not the icon will be visible. 2. The different way in which Windows 95 displays icons means that it is no longer possible to see the alerts within an iconized alert view window. These problems will be addressed in a future release of BattleView. AVOIDANCE NOTES: 1. The Windows 95 task bar can be made to be always on top using the task bar properties dialog obtained with Start Menu/Settings/Taskbar. 2. No avoidance is possible. RECOVERY NOTES: Not applicable.
