Introduction to Enterprise Risk Management
Overview
1-day single organisation course with optional practical workshop on day 2.
Today's organisations strongly demand the delivery of quality IT Services to underpin their business processes. In order to ensure that the processes and Services provided are robust enough to meet business demand, IT needs to be increasingly proactive in identifying, understanding and managing the everyday risks that are present in the operational environment.
This course provides an introduction to Enterprise and Operational Risk Management and the benefits that can be realised through implementing Risk management processes and building a risk aware culture. The course is based on best practice guidelines for the Management of Risk.
This package includes an initial day of training in Risk Management, followed by an optional second day during which a facilitated workshop is run in order to allow staff to put the techniques they have learnt into practice. It provides practical guidance on the use of Risk Management within an IT environment, to enable the delivery of more robust IT processes and services.
