ITIL® and ISO/IEC 27001

Fox IT announce the publication of a white paper which discusses how Service Management processes and practices can be used to support the Information Security standard/code of practice of ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002.

It will shortly be featured on the new EXIN Information Security standard web-site, http://www.exin-security.com, and is also being submitted to the itSMF for publication.

The white paper has been co-produced by Mark Sykes (Principal Consultant, Fox IT) and Nigel Landman (QT&C, an organisation specialising in Information Security).

A new foxPRISM module covering ISO/IEC 27001 and 27002 is also nearing completion, and the paper features a relationship matrix between foxPRISM processes and 27001/27002.
